James Bergman is a singer/songwriter based out of Fargo, North Dakota. He has written and performed original songs at numerous events in the Fargo-Moorhead community. Although he continues to write original music inspired by his own life, he loves engaging individuals and groups in the songwriting process.
“I love it when I am able to work with a person or nonprofit and hear their story. So often, I find myself inspired by the amazing things people are doing in our community. Writing about them and including them in that process feels like a way that we both can acknowledge and celebrate the gifts that we all have to offer.”
In February of 2018, James was a winner in the Fargo Famous Talent Show. Since that time, he played at the March For Our Lives event in Fargo, participated in a United Way fundraiser, and performed an original song for Fill the Dome. James has also written songs and performed at numerous benefits and events for other non-profits in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
James is now writing custom songs for people and organizations who are looking to put their story to music. His main focus is on the lyrical element of music and carefully selecting the right words and images for each individual client; turning the stories of their lives into the songs of their dreams.
